Personnel from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 7 and a private mining firm in Cebu left for Ormoc City to help study the geological impacts of the 5.4 magnitude earthquake that hit Leyte Province.
A team from DENR-7’s Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) and Carmen Copper Corp. (CCC) were deployed to assist local government units assess the affected areas.
