Strategic Planning Workshop for MGB-GAD Focal Point System Held at Linden Suites, Pasig City (October 3-5, 2023)

A recently concluded training workshop, focusing on strategic planning for the MGB-GAD Focal Point System covering both Central and Regional Offices, was conducted from October 3 to October 5, 2023, at Linden Suites in Pasig City.

The primary objective of the training workshop was to enhance the capabilities of the MGB GAD Focal Point System, Program, and Project Teams, as well as the personnel involved, in the implementation of gender-responsive programs, projects, and activities.

By the end of the workshop, participants were expected to have acquired a solid understanding of key concepts related to Gender Analysis and GAD Plan and Budget, recognizing their significance in executing gender-responsive programs and projects. Furthermore, they were anticipated to be able to develop and present comprehensive program and/or project concept notes/documents that seamlessly align with the HGDG requirements. The ultimate aim was to successfully draft and finalize the MGB GAD Plan and Budget for the year 2024.
