The MGB7 Geohazard Mapping and Assessment Team capped off the Vulnerability and Risk Assessment (VRA) and Updating of 1:10,000-scale Geohazard Map activity in the Municipality of Duero, Province of Bohol with an exit conference.

Hon. Mayor Al C. Taculad, Hon. Vice Mayor Hernes A. Bajao, some members of the Sangguniang Bayan, a few department heads of the local government unit, and the Barangay Chairpersons and Councillors of the 21 barrios of the town, attended the activity on October 12, 2022. The VRA and Updating of Geohazard Map activity in the municipality were done from September to October this year. This program is one of the annual targets of the Geosciences Division of MGB7.

The GMAT comprises Ms. Josephine T. Aleta, Supervising Geologist and Chief of the Geohazard and Engineering Geology Section; and JR I. Lantaca, Geologist.
