Geologists conduct a geohazard assessment after a portion of Toledo-Manipis Road collapsed due to incessant heavy rains on June 27, 2022.

Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) 7 Regional Director Armando L. Malicse and Geosciences Division Chief Al Emil G. Berador directed the geohazard assessment on Purok ABSA, Barangay Don Andres Soriano (Lutopan), Toledo City, Cebu.

The MGB 7 team was composed of Supervising Geologist Maria Elena S. Lupo and Geologist JR I. Lantaca assisted by responders from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Toledo and Barangay Officials of Don Andres Soriano. Also present during the survey were technical personnel from the Department of Public Works and Highways Region VII – Cebu 3rd District Engineering Office.
