In compliance with the recent issuances of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Civil Service Commission (CSC) and Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) relevant to addressing the threat of COVID-19, MGB-7 will be adopting an alternative working arrangement on March 23, 2020, to April 14, 2020, or until further notice.

Relative thereto, a three-day per week “work from home” arrangement will be implemented. Meanwhile, a skeletal workforce will be present in the office to ensure the continuous delivery of essential services to our clientele.

During the period, MGB-7 is informing/advising the public that the office is undertaking the following preventive control measures:

  1. Stakeholders/Clientele are encouraged to refrain from visiting the office unless for urgent concerns.
  2. Fieldworks and travels of MGB-7 personnel are suspended.
  3. Mass gatherings, meetings, seminars, and conferences are canceled.
  4. Submission of routinary reports, inquiries, and other related concerns are encouraged to be sent through electronic mail (e-mail) at this address: region7@mgb.gov.ph.

To ensure the safety and well-being of MGB-7 personnel and of our clientele, temperature checks will be conducted at the office entrance and disinfectant liquid (alcohol) will be available for use to visitors. Stringent social distancing will be strictly implemented within the office premises.

In these challenging times, we encourage everyone to be vigilant and practice safety measures.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
