This year, we are celebrating it with the theme, Invest in Our Planet that rallies for courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, our livelihoods by investing in our planet.

‘A green future is a prosperous future.’ Businesses, governments, and citizens should form a partnership for the planet to achieve a prosperous and sustainable future for our children and their children.

April is recognized as The Month of Planet Earth by virtue of Proclamation No. 1482 signed on April 10, 2008. The DENR, in partnership with other concerned agencies, the private sector, local government units, non-government organizations, and civic and religious organizations concerned, spearheads this observance through the conduct of support activities that would highlight the promotion of earth sciences towards a better society.
