𝗠𝗚𝗕 𝟳, 𝗗𝗢𝗛 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵

Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) 7, in collaboration with the Department of Health Central Visayas Center for Health Development (DOH 7), organized a Health and Wellness Day on March 14, 2024, at the Training Hall, Banilad, Mandaue City in celebration of the 2024 National Women’s Month.

This joint initiative aimed to enhance the health of MGB 7 employees through on-site services provided by DOH 7 including blood glucose, uric acid, and total cholesterol tests, along with a lecture on how to achieve a healthy lifestyle and prevent lifestyle-related diseases.

MGB 7 Geosciences Division Chief and GAD Focal Person Al Emil G. Berador expressed his gratitude to DOH 7 representatives Juneval Villano, Jan Vinhery Taboada, and Jerry Morala of the Non-Communicable Diseases Section for conducting free on-site services and informative sessions for the employees on diseases linked to lifestyle choices and promoting healthy living habits.

The whole-day activity is an initiative of the MGBEA7 and FAD led by Josephine T. Aleta and Aira L. Torregosa, respectively. (/IO)
