Embracing a sustainable future with MCCNHS

MGB 7 Regional Director Armando L. Malicse alongside esteemed officials from the Mandaue City Government, the Department of Education, and the University of San Carlos, joined high school students to witness a historical moment as the Vivant Foundation, Inc. and Visayan Electric Company teamed up to bring clean energy to life.

The Vivant Foundation, Inc. donated and installed a 35k Wp PV Hybrid Rooftop Solar System at Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School which was turned over on September 20. This system will power a brighter future and provide resilience during tough times.

On behalf of the Department of Natural Resources Central Visayas, RD Malicse extends support for this initiative, congratulates the school, and commends the Vivant Foundation for their generous donation of the solar system.

In his speech, he advises the school to allocate a day or two for the safe and secure removal of the solar panels whenever a typhoon comes.

“This is to ensure that the primary purpose and efforts invested in this solar system don’t go to waste. It’s important to practice and be well-prepared for the panel removal process, including securing the necessary tools for the job and having trained personnel as well,” RD Malicse said.
