𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 2025!
MGB 7 proudly joined the kickoff celebration of Philippine Environment Month 2025 earlier today, together with over 700 representatives from various government agencies across Region 7. The event was held at Ecotech, Lahug, Cebu City.

This year, we unite under the global theme:
“𝐄𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧” is a powerful call to action in addressing one of today’s most pressing environmental issues. This theme is aligned with World Environment Day (June 5), spearheaded by the United Nations, which urges everyone to #BeatPlasticPollution through sustainable choices and collective action.

Let us work together to protect our ecosystems, reduce plastic waste, and build a future where both people and nature can thrive.

Presidential Proclamation No. 237, s. 1988, declares the month of June as Philippine Environment Month. Issued by then-President Corazon C. Aquino on April 4, 1988, the proclamation seeks to raise public awareness and inspire efforts toward the protection, enhancement, and sustainable development of our environment.

World Environment Day, celebrated every June 5, also forms part of this important national observance.
