Notice of Decision: POA Case No. CEB-0029 (Bonghanoy vs. Globus Chemical and Cement Corp.)

The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Regional Panel of Arbitrators, Regional Office VII, has issued a formal Decision regarding the opposition to the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement (MPSA) application denominated as APSA000324VII. On November 11, 2025, the Panel officially dismissed the protest filed by Mr. Benjie Bonghanoy as moot and academic.

This follows a prior Order from October 07, 2013, which denied the application of Globus Chemical and Cement Corporation for failure to comply with DMO No. 2013-01. As the denial was declared final and executory on July 15, 2014, the subject area located in Naga and Minglanilla, Cebu, is now deemed open for mining applications pursuant to existing regulations.
