BFP 7 Guides EMB 7 and MGB 7 in Basic Fire Safety Training

The Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7 — Subangdaku Fire Sub-Station facilitated a Basic Fire Safety Training attended primarily by the Environmental Management Bureau 7 (EMB-7). The Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 7 (MGB-7) also joined the activity, with a few personnel present as invited participants.

The training covered essential topics such as fire behavior and development, fire prevention strategies, the proper use of fire extinguishers, and evacuation procedures. Under the guidance of BFP professionals, participants engaged in hands-on exercises to reinforce their knowledge and practical skills.

A fire drill capped the lecture, allowing attendees to apply the safety measures they had learned. Participants showed keen interest throughout the session, reflecting their attentiveness and commitment to readiness.

The orientation was held on September 10 at the MGB-7 Training Hall in Banilad, Mandaue City. (IO/MGB7)
