2nd Batch of MGB-7 Employees Complete BLS Training Workshop
The second batch of employees from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 7 (MGB-7) completed the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Workshop. The training was initiated by the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD), in partnership with the MGBEA-7 Chapter and the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 7 (BFP-7), with trainers and resource persons sharing their expertise in life-saving skills.
Just like the first batch, participants faced a challenging time during the practical and hands-on examinations on the second day. Despite this, they expressed that the experience was both enjoyable and rewarding. Employees were grateful for the lectures and training, emphasizing how valuable these skills are in their daily lives—whether for their families, co-workers, or in serving the community.
On behalf of OIC Regional Director Al Emil G. Berador, Engr. Edgardo C. Loquellano expressed gratitude to BFP-7 for their expertise, patience, and dedication in equipping MGB-7 employees with essential emergency response knowledge.
This initiative highlights MGB-7’s continuous capacity-building efforts to strengthen workplace safety, preparedness, and resilience among its personnel. The workshop was held on September 15–16, 2025, at Montebello Villa Hotel, Cebu City. (MGB7/IO)
