ANDA, BOHOL โ€” Streamlining government processes and bringing frontline assistance straight to local communities, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 7 (MGB 7) , alongside fellow DENR line bureaus, is serving the residents of Anda on the final day of โ€œDENR Express: Permitting on Wheelsโ€ at the Anda Municipal Cultural Center, running until 5:00 PM today.

The two-day mobile service event officially launched with the strong support of regional and local leaders, led by DENR Central Visayas Regional Executive Director Laudemir S. Salac, Municipal Vice Mayor Rubena “Ruby” Castrodes-Porter, Regional Directors of the DENR line bureaus, and officials from the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) and Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO).

Led by Regional Director Al Emil G. Berador, the MGB 7 teamโ€”composed of Geologist Riggs Dominic Colocar, Mining Engineers Engr. Kristy Edgie Alburo and Engr. Earl Dexter Areglo, always ready to provide immediate evaluation, technical guidance, and administrative services.

Beyond processing regulatory requirements, the team actively distributed Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials such as brochures on flood, landslide, and karst subsidence hazardsโ€”to enhance community disaster awareness. The desk also addressed specific inquiries regarding Geohazard Certification requirements.

โ€ข Permits & Accreditations: Certificates of Accreditation for Dealers, Traders, or Retailers; Ore Transport Permits (OTP); Mineral Ore Export Permits (MOEP); and Industrial Sand & Gravel (ISAG) Applications.

โ€ข Technical Certifications & Clearances: Geohazard Certifications, Rock Certifications, and Area Status/Clearances.

โ€ข Geohazard Awareness: Distribution of IEC materials on flood, landslide, and karst subsidence mitigation.

โ€ข Public Assistance: Immediate handling of mining queries, cross-referrals to partner bureaus for non-MGB concerns.
