𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: 𝐉𝐔𝐋𝐘 𝟗 – MGB 7, led by OIC Regional Director Al Emil G. Berador, attended and showed support during the first regional visit of DENR Secretary Rafael P.M. Lotilla since he assumed office, held this afternoon at the DENR Central Visayas in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu.

The visit marked a significant engagement with regional staff, emphasizing unity and collaboration across DENR offices. Accompanying Secretary Lotilla were Undersecretaries Marilou G. Erni, Atty. Juan Miguel T. Cuna, CESO I, Augusto D. Dela Peña; and Mr. Joe-Mar S. Perez.

In his address, Secretary Lotilla assured personnel of the continuity of the President’s programs and priorities, many of which were initiated under former DENR Secretary Maria Antonia Yulo Loyzaga. “So, first of all, I’d like to assure you that the program of the President and his priorities are going to continue. Many of those have been initiated by Secretary Loyzaga,” he said. He also emphasized institutional integrity, human resource development, and long-term demographic planning. Among the key topics discussed was the regularization of temporary personnel—a step toward ensuring a stable, qualified, and committed workforce for the DENR.

Earlier today, Secretary Lotilla also participated in the FRLD (Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage) Board Meeting held in Lapu-Lapu City, where he delivered President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s message during the opening of the sixth board session. (IO)
